U14 Team - Ages 12 & 13

Age Eligibility: Year of Birth (YOB) 2013-2014

The SARS U14 Team is a great way to transition from the Youth Ski League Program to the more intensive Junior race programs. This group focuses on cutting-edge skill development both in and out of the race arena while having the opportunity to compete approximately two weekends per month.

The U14 team athlete will have the opportunity to train occasionally on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons as well as all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. While there is no obligation to train 3-5 day per week, the opportunity to do so will be available. Athletes are welcome to train on only Saturdays and Sunday, as well.

For the 2026/2027 season – All Junior athletes are required to have a team jacket.   This will be the second year with this team jacket (price not included in tuition fee).  If you are new to the SARS program or have outgrown your team jacket please “select” purchase a team jacket at checkout.

U16 / Northwest Cup Teams - Ages 14 & up

Age Eligibility: Year of Birth (YOB) 2012 and older

This is a full-time racing and training group that competes at Northwest Cup events, Evergreen Cup events, and Regional Championship events upon qualification. Age eligible athletes may also compete in “in-division” FIS races. It is designed for athletes 16 and older aspiring to be successful at the divisional and regional levels. Athletes’ individual needs are met based on tactical, technical, and competitive goals.

FIS-aged athletes that want to compete on a part-time level may choose the Northwest Cup/U16 team rather than the full-time FIS program. This option offers a more limited travel and training schedule yet still offers a great deal of overlap with the FIS program in the training and Northwest Cup racing arena.

For the 2026/2027 season – All Junior athletes are required to have a team jacket.   This will be the second year with this team jacket (price not included in tuition fee).  If you are new to the SARS program or have outgrown your team jacket please “select” purchase a team jacket at checkout.

  • Tuition – $3,350
  • Dates: Every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon plus, Saturday, and Sunday in early December and going through the end of the competition season at the end of April.
