2020 Mount Hood Summer Camp

The 2020 SARS summer camp is a day camp only due to Oregon state COVID – 19 related guidelines as well as the health and well being of our member athletes and families.  This means that the participating athletes will need to make their own transportation, lodging, and meal arrangements.  Participating athletes are required to stay with an adult.  The SARS staff will be driving down on the 18th and staying in Collins Lake.

  • Where:  Mt. Hood, OR
  • When: Arrive August 18th with training on the 19th – 23rd
  • Who: 2020/2021 SARS U14 and older athletes only born in 2008 or older.
  • Staff:  Jamie, Ted and 1-2 more TBD

What to bring: All GS and Slalom related equipment, dryland / recovery clothing, tuning equipment etc. etc.  SARS coaches will bring down waxing benches that can be lent out to small groups.

We will have an outdoor team meeting August 18th to go over the weekly plan at 7pm sharp near the coach’s condo in Collins Lake.

Athletes are always expected to wear a face max  while at the ski area.  If you are caught not complying, the resort will pull your ticket indefinitely.

Athletes will need to be transported to and from the ski resort daily.  Times and meeting locations to come.

The camp cost is $825, which includes all coach related expenses (including daily rate pay) and athlete lift tickets.
